“Wine makes every meal an occasion, every table more elegant, every day more civilized.”
― Andre Simon
This Sunday afternoon (19 Aug), I was at the event organized by GingerClaps for Four Seasons at Royal Orchids. The idea was to get a feel of different classical wines of the brand.
The occasion was graced by Four Seasons brand ambassador Miss Earth Shamita Singha who did a small talk on different types of wines and how they are prepared.
Apart from this another important program was live cooking of various foods by the chefs of the hotel by the poolside.
The event was well attended by bloggers who blog on food, travel, photography, lifestyle.
For me take away from the get together are:
- Lingering taste of classical wines of Four Seasons
- To know people behind the blogs that I admired so much for their skill.

This sounds like a marvelous event. It would be nice to learn more about fine wines and to sample some of that great food.
we enjoyed wine tasting twice in Napa valley and Sononma. I wrote my experience in my blog before.
Oh yeah, wine certainly is fun and these pictures are wonderful really! Very exciting.

What a great event! And a wonderful way to meet bloggers in person. I like wine-tasting events. The only problem is that I tend to "taste" too much!
A lovely post. It looked like a wonderful gathering and I enjoyed all your photos very much. I also enjoyed the quotes. Thank you so much.
What fun you all had.

What a yummy spots to take shadow shots! ;)
There is nothing like a good wine tasting especial with a beautiful ambassador like this one. Know you had a wonderful time. Your photos show it. It is good to be back blogging again after a summer's rest. Am looking forward to seeing more beautiful temples from your gorgeous country.genie
It's good to see events like this taking place in India as well. Wine tasting is an experience in itself. Good to have more awareness around it. Combine it with great food and you would want nothing more to complete the day.
That looks very beautiful, elegant, and tasty :)
Love the elegance of the presentation! Wine tasting is an exciting experience, especially when in exciting company!
Thank you all. It was a nice event, fun for all.
Great shots! looks awesome and like you had lots of fun...:)
That does sound like a very fun event! I would enjoy it very much and your pictures are perfect.
Wonderful, Rajesh. My good friend,
Shiju, also did a post about this event and, I understand, you me there. Hopefully, during your San Francisco trips, you've gotten to try some of the superb Napa and other California wines. Sad for me, I've not found Indian wines yet ready to compare.
I'll pass on the wine but the desert looks yummy.
Lovely shots and nice story.
I love wine. So much so, I make my own. :-)
