I get to see variety of birds in the back yard of my parents house in Udupi. I have captured few of them in my camera and here they are. One such beautiful bird is Peahen.
They are mostly brown with a white belly, a green neck and the same type of head crest.
Their diet include plant parts, flower petals, seed heads, insects and and reptiles.

ReplyDeleteI have heard of pea hens, but this is the first time I have seen one. This fellow looks quite well fed off of his health diet. He looks like he’s had such a fine time he needs a rest :-)
