At flower show in Lalbagh Gardens at Bangalore on August 2010 there were exclusive collection of Orchids on display. The colors were amazing.
There were more than 25 variety of Orchids on display. The color combination and designs on each of them were beautiful.
There were stalls selling the Orchids plants outside the flower show. The price ranged from Rupees 600 to 1200 depending on the variety.

Wow beautiful. I remember, visiting the flower show once from college. What makes you crazy is the sweet smell and the burst of colors around you. The photos had not done justice to the show since I feel there would have more colorful scenes there.

Mi piace comperarli ogni tanto ( in Italia costano molto )e metterne uno colorato in un vasetto sopra al camino di casa mia.

What a fabulous and beautiful collection of orchids. My mother used to grown them in Florida where I grew up so have a great respect for them. These are magnificent....a lovely post.

Remember my days in Bangalore and brought a tear to my eyes.
ReplyDeleteLoved the garden my Aunt used to tend so very gently.
She would win the first prize in the contest, for the large garden.
Now we are in Mumbai and that house is sold , but this post brought back memories of the fun time :) we had together at the Lalbagh Flower Show.
