Gates of Sinhgad

Sinhgad fortress located 30 kms from Pune is an hill fort with several gates. One of the prominent gate is Pune Darwaz.

After you enter through this gate, one can across one more gate of the fort.

There is another prominent gate is Kalyan Darwaz at the other end of this huge fort and unfortunately I missed this. In the area inside the fort there are also beautiful flowery plants.

  28. It looks like a nice place to visit, especially with those brilliant yellow blooms. I am, actually, going to Pune in the next week or so to see a Royal Caribbean friend who is home for two months leave. Doubt I'll make it to this fort, though.
