This ancient temple is located at the top of Pavagadh Hill within the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park.

The temple can be reached either by a pathway climbing over a distance of 5 kms or by a ropeway.

  4. This temple is definitely fortified up there on that hill. Quite the climb for the tourist. Has there ever been a tally taken of all the temples that still exist in India. I would really be curious. It must be in the thousands.
