Kapu located at a distance of 13 kms from Udupi has very picturesque beach.
On the rocky surface of the beach it has a Light House that was built in 1901.
It has stood on the rocks for many years guiding thousands of sailors and warning them the presence of rocks.
To reach the top of the lighthouse, one has to climb the spiral stair case. Once at the top of the lighthouse we can get the magnificent view of the surroundings from the top.
It is open for visitors between 4 p.m to 6 p.m.
