My wife and I had the good fortune to spend a summer in India in 1994 with an NGO in Mussoorie. I continue to help MGVS (mgvsnews.org) with their work by editing a newsletter for them. I am also fascinated with the culture and history of India. So glad I found your site. Look forward to reading more.
Beautiful and so life like.Rustic village colors so delightfully reflected. A real joy to be able to view such paintings. By the way who was the original painter ?
This is really a nice painting and it is actually true !! I have actually seen this in reality and moreover this is a peaceful life for the villagers..Great Rajesh..Nice Post..Do check my another blog also i.e.Unseen Rajasthan
Are they contemporary painting for contemporary scenes? Are they prints or real art works by local artists? I also like the Lady from Village, both of them are quite nice.
