Lot of resorts have mushroomed in and around Bangalore. This mainly serve corporate customers. Some of the companies take the employees to these places for a days outing once in a while. Apart from food they provide lot of facilities like games, swimming pool and host of other amenities.
These resorts have also started to cater to the family crowd.
With the temperature going as high as 36 degree centigrade in Bangalore, these places are ideal getaways for a fee. My family along with my friends family ventured to explore one such resort on a weekday.
Luckily on the day we were the only people in the resort. We had good fun with the kids spending more than 5 hours in the pool. The place had water slides, pools of various sizes, play area.

Just like Vegas - most hotels here also make their pools accessible to locals for free. They hope you'll buy refreshments and gamble a little.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos.

A resort just for you? How lucky to have no crowd. And you are also lucky that it is only 36 C out there in Bangalore. A little up north from where you live it is 44.5C
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to cool off. :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteare they affordable to the ordinary people. The water would be very nice when it is so hot.

XO,
Sheila :-)
The children are sure having a wonderful time on the slides! I love the smiles on their faces.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like the ideal way to beat the heat. Kids are almost like fish - they can stay in the water all day! I used to take my boys to our local Embassy Suites on the weekend and invite a few of their friends for a sleep over - it was great because they had an indoor pool, huge breakfasts, and evening cocktails, sodas, popcoorn!
ReplyDeleteWhat great choices for Blue Monday and Mellow Yellow Monday. Very vivic.
ReplyDeleteAh, summer is coming. Happy Blue Monday.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Looks like the kids had a great time.
ReplyDeleteYour blue makes my heart go pitter pat. I adore it.
