Bhavnagar (State: Gujarat) situated at a distance of 177 km from Ahmedabad. It came into existence in 1724 by Bhavsinhji Gohil, and the city was named after its founder and ruler. The former princely state of Bhavnagar was also known as Gohilwad; "Land of the Gohils"
