Quite a lot of pelicans, Rajesh. They are the state bird of Louisiana and my nursing school pin features the head of a pelican ( I went to school in New Orleans and will attend my 50th nursing school reunion in mid Oct, flying directly back from India for the occasion. I return to India May 6th after a 5 month stay at home.
My posting is of my little two-year-old granddaughter, Harper, enjoying the new chickens in our family.

Great birds.
ReplyDeleteThey appear to be fishing cooperatively as do our American White Pelicans. Our Brown Pelicans are solitary feeders.
ReplyDeleteLovely birds I don't get to see...
ReplyDeleteSo many pelicans, how special.
ReplyDeleteNice capture.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen pelicans, but I've seen flamingos in Sewri in Bombay, where they migrate from god-knows-where. It looks As if the lake is on fire.
ReplyDeleteThe pelicans look so lovely! I can imagine how they must be looking in real!
Very beautiful!
