Namchi is town in the state of Sikkim located at a distance of 78 kilometres from the state capital Gangtok. In the local language the name means "Sky High". It is situated at an altitude of 1675 m above sea level.

ReplyDeleteThat is a high altitude, Rajesh! In our state of Colorado we hlso have many cities above 1675 m. It takes tme for people to adjust to that altitude as the air is thin.
