At flower show in Lalbagh Gardens at Bangalore on August 2011 there were exclusive collection of Dahlias on display. The colors were amazing. One of the colorful Dahlia is below.
Dahlias are spectacular flowers, very colourful and easy to grow, and above all they keep blooming until the first frost which is a blessing in Western Europe where we can keep them until mid to late October. This bi-colour one is very attractive.

This is beautiful dahlia. I always think of historical Indian temples when I think of you, but now I need to add the flowers. This is a lovely capture. The mix of color is stunning and you did a fine job with capturing the details. Have a nice week and enjoy your little beauties of nature. genie
Beautiful. I am going to try and grow Dahlias next spring...they are just amazing flowers. I have always heard they are easy to grow in India. Hopefully, I will have some luck. have a great weekend. Suzanne
Hi Rajesh! Sorry for the absence, but these last two months have been nasty! My mother (90) was in hospital for more than three weeks and the post-surgery was hard! My father (94) seemed to be orphan while my mother was out and felt into some kind of depression... The economy is a disaster and the media only bring bad news... The € Euro is rescued every day, only to be known that it needs to be rescued again and again... What else? Well, maybe «Midnight in Paris»... The problem is that the Gil there is a different one... ;)
Fabulous shot, as ever...
