Srimad Anantheshwar Temple Pond, Manjeshwar

The Srimad Anatheshwar Temple in Manjeshwar is most ancient temple in the area. To the right of the temple there is a pond enclosed within a compound wall.

The water of the pond is used only by the temple.

In the pond there are two ducklings having a good time.

Is it ever used as swimmingpool? It looks beautiful! No wonder the ducks are having a great time.

Bom dia!!!
Além de uma arquitetura maravilhosa, da calma da lagoa, as cores do templo são agradáveis e alegres.

I like the pond. There's just something about water. And ducks. I've often thought I take to photography like a duck takes to water! :-)

How I wish I were the duckling - wading efficiently & effortlessly enjoying the cool waters of the temple tank !

The ducks have found a peaceful spot. No need of entrance gates for them:-)

Nice temple entrance. And the pond looks lovely too. Many Keralan temples have adjoining ponds.

I'll bet the ducks use it more than the temple. LOL! Have a great WW!
