It has to be one of the most visited monuments in the world, and anyway the first one in India...such beauty!

Oh, Rajesh! What happy memories you have conjured up for me! We were in India a few years ago and visited all of the places you mention. Seeing the magical Taj Mahal was one of the highlights of the trip...
Lovely post!
I get the feeling I stood in the same spot to take a picture many years ago!
What a great place to visit.

Taj Mahal is magnificent and the top photo is beautifully captured.
I recently was talking to one of my Indian friends and he shared a very interesting thought with me. The Taj Mahal, for many, is considered to be a symbol of love, a gift from a husband to his wife.
But how can it be that when on the other hand he cut off the hands of hundreds of workers who built this monument? How can it be considered a symbol of love when so many hundreds of people suffered?
It makes you think right?
A truly iconic place.
I saw the Taj Mahal in the '80's but the memory is still fresh with me!

excellent architecture of course and i love it,

Fantastic places, Rajesh. Beautiful image and collage!
Taj Mahal is the Taj (Crown) of India. Unfortunately it is difficult to visit all the places in a day. I believe the construction work at Dayalbagh still continues.
Beautiful places -- and of course one of the few places in your wonderful country I would have known about before learning so much from my grandchildren and from your blog.
Stunning & magnificent Taj - Symbol of immortal love !
So Majestic until now.
