Brilliant pictures. Always fascinating to relish nature, but zoos in India need to urgently upgrade to international standards.

Zoos are always such fun to be able to see animals you wouldn't normally be able to see in the wild.

Looks like the caretakers are trying to keep the animals' homes as natural as possible.

I confess that I would like for there to be no more zoos (only sanctuaries to rescue injured or traumatized wildlife). However, I thought you did a fine job of showing the many attractions at Bannerghatta Zoo.

Hi there - I can remember when I first saw budgerigars in the wild - what a day.

I thought I’d let you know that I stepped into the void caused by Springmans decision to close down World Bird Wednesday by setting up Wild Bird Wednesday (!) on my photoblog.

Feel free to visit and link.
