Bhavnagar, the Land of the Gohils

Bhavnagar (State: Gujarat) situated at a distance of 177 km from Ahmedabad. It came into existence in 1724 by Bhavsinhji Gohil, and the city was named after its founder and ruler. The former princely state of Bhavnagar was also known as Gohilwad; "Land of the Gohils"

It is an important city for trade with many large and small scale industries.  We reached this place in the late evening. The places of interest that I have visited before living the city next day morning are:

Those are very attractive buildings. The city doesn't look very busy but perhaps that's because you were up and about in the early morn. :)
