Queen Victoria Statue, Bangalore

Cubbon Park in Bangalore (State: Karnataka) is one of the biggest parks in the city. There are several statues installed in this park.

In the year 1906, the Statue of Queen Victoria of Brita
in is installed in this park.

This statue is located at one end of the park near Mahatama Gandhi Circle.

It is certainly a nice statue of her, Rajesh. Like the people of India, Canadians were also subjects of the Empress, and I'm always interested in reading about her. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Cubbon park is the lungs of Bangalore...thank God the authorities have not touched the park. at the same time..concrete jungle coming up and growing day by day around this park....kudos to the authorities

That's a young queen victoria. the one in Auckalnd is much older.
