Cubbon Park in Bangalore (State: Karnataka) is one of the biggest parks in the city. There are several statues installed in this park.
In the year 1906, the Statue of Queen Victoria of Britain is installed in this park.
This statue is located at one end of the park near Mahatama Gandhi Circle.

She certainly does look regal as befitting her title of Empress of India at that time. Thank you for sharing this interesting sculpture of history.:)
Great shot of the statue ;))
I saw a similar statue (I think) in front of Buckingham Palace in London.
Interesting to see another statue of Queen Victoria in another corner of the world. Did you see my dressed up Queen Vic statues in Sydney, a few weeks ago?
Sydney - City and Suburbs
a beautiful park well maintained
She looks quite regal.
It is certainly a nice statue of her, Rajesh. Like the people of India, Canadians were also subjects of the Empress, and I'm always interested in reading about her. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Q is for...
She seems so entrenched in history - yet my grandma was born when Queen Victoria was alive.
Queen Victoria, lovely statue for Q day.
There must be so many statues of Victoria throughout the former Empire and even now in the Commonwealth.
Perfect choice for the letter Q. That statue has been there for a long time.
