Beetle Bug in Hebbal Park

Hebbal Lake in north Bangalore is favorite spot for photography enthusiasts and birds and various insects. On one of my visits to the park, I spotted beetle bug.

Here are some of the shots of the bug that I had attempted of taking while it is in action.

I followed it for some time to click all that I could. Finally it sat in one place for me to take a decent shot.

I really scare even looking at them and we have taught to close ears when they come near.

Nice capture on the bug! Great one at last :)

Great shots! That old vine covered tree has so much character. It must have been tricky, catching these bugs in flight, and your final pose is fantastic.

Can't say it's an attractive bug, but in the last image you captured its colourful shades of metallic blue and green.

Hard to "shoot" those guys -- they fly so quickly. Nice job.
