Trayambakeshwar Temple, Rishikesh

Trayambakeshwar Temple at the foothills of the mountains in Rishikesh is a important landmark. It is located on east bank of Ganges near Lakshman Jhoola.

This is a 13-story tall unique temple. In the temple there are murtis of various gods and goddesses.

What a beautiful piece of architecture. If I did not know it was a temple, I would think it was a fabulous hotel for the rich and famous. Love the bridge going to it. genie
