Ambaji

Ambaji is an important temple town in the state of Gujarat. It is a historical town with and mythological connections that has lot of cultural heritage.

The place is known for the world renowned Ambaji Temple.

We reached this historical town from Patan via Modhera on the way.

We left Modhera in the afternoon to reach Ambaji in the evening.

Fantastic shots! The gold coating seems to enrich the temple tower. Very interesting and interacted work within the well/tank!

Beautiful. I have yet to visit Gujurat but, since I'm afraid this upcoming trip ( May 6th ) may be my last India trip, I hope to get there during that five months.

Very beautiful! Loved the carvings in the sandstone pillars. The Gujarat style of architecture is awesome! The Gateway of India in Bombay is constructed in the same style.
