Rajkot

Rajkot is located in the region of Saurashtra in the state of Gujarat. It was once the capital of the princely state of Saurashtra.

It has been home for father of the nation, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. The places of interest that I have visited here are:

The place of historic interest near by is Junagadh that is known for fort.

Another place of interest nearby is Gondal that is known for palaces.

Is that top structure the high school? It's so well kept and looks more modern than the architecture I'm accustomed to you sharing. It looks like there are cannons in the windows of the turreted building.
