Zoos I think are necessary evils. Wonderful but sad places that can teach us to love our animal brothers and sisters. Your photos are wonderful.
great pictures...nice to see so much open space unlike others Zoos...
HAPPY VALENTINES TO YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES.
The last time I was photographed with an elephant in the background was when I was still in kindergarten. That was more than two decades ago. Suddenly, I miss my father. Thanks for this post. Those happy moments instantly flashbacked to me.
Beautiful images. I love elephants - they such unusually looking animals.;)Have a great Monday, xoxo

I'm glad to hear they have lots of space and that they are treated well. :)
I can understand this is a popular zoo to visit! Elephants are really amazing animals.
Beautiful animals. Great pics I love zoos Here in Christchurch the animals have lots of space as well
Wonderful shots of the elephants! They are amazing animals. Thanks for sharing your world, Rajesh!
This post reminded me that I haven't been to the zoo in about 7 years.Have a lovely week. Happy Valentine's Day.
Faz muitos anos que não vou a um zoológico! Fiquei com saudades!
I love elephants, but the only place to see them around here is at a couple of zoos.
Wonderful shots of the elephants. The close-up in the first shot makes me feel like I'm standing right in front of them.
I am happy they have space. We loved visiting zoos when our kids were little, because, as you say, it is a way for them to see and learn to love the animals. As we have aged we are no longer so fond of zoos (even though there are some really excellent ones that provide plenty of natural-like space and work hard on preserving endangered species.) So now I have mixed feelings about them. It's a real gray area
Hi Rajesh, My Grandchildren would love visiting here. It looks like the elephant in the top photo is working.
I know how important elephants have been to the history of India, Rajesh. These ones really live a life of ease, don't they? Thanks for sharing them with us!-- KKay, Alberta, CanadaAn Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel

A beautiful zoo in the green. I find elephants and giraffes always amazing.
Zoo is a nice place to learn about animals and you can get up close to them. We have a day and night zoo over here and another river zoo coming soon.
Elephants are such beautiful creatures! Thank you for sharing!Greetings from West Africa,Esther

I love elephants, I hope you enjoyed your visit.
Very nice photos. India has good traditions with elephants. When I thought about E, yes, there was elephant in my mind. They are such great creatures. Some days ago I prepared my post for today. It is the elephant, too.
I love zoo! there's only one zoo here in my country and I love to visit it periodically.
I love elephants!
Yyour photos are terrific as always, Rajesh! Hope you have a great week!
seems like a great place to visit. :)
I like the concept of adopting animals here by celebrities. Great pics.
Elephants are sensitive intellectual creatures and if it weren't for Zoos containing any wild animals for the public to see, many would of perish without the help of the educational and science behind many different types of animals/mammals that so many of us would of ever knew about at how to conserve their habits and more. This is a good post for the letter E. Also Elephants are one my most favorite creatures on earth
Such lovely captures of the elephants and a beautiful place to visit.
Wow, I adore elephants! Great photos.
how i love to see elephants but we are far away in the zoo :) Have time to visit my E entry.
Love the elephants, but they kind of scare me up close, they're so huge! But magnificent!
Simply beautiful!E is for Eyes that Glow
Lovely photos of the elephants. Thank you for sharing.
When we visit zoos, we always make sure to stop by the elephants. :)
Namma mysooru zoo is a lot better maintained than other zoos in the country and its always a pleasure to walk through the huge wooded gardens which almost give a sense of being in a forest.....can never tire of watching elephants, anywhere.
Yes, they are taken care of really well. In this zoo anyone can adopt any animal, i.e., they take care of all expenses.
Nice, L love elephants!
Great pictures ...Mysore zoo seems to be one of the progressive ones. The one in Mumbai is really sad. I haven't been there in ages. Hopefully they have managed to be a little more sensitive towards the animals.Cheers,Madhu
Good to hear that these adorable and peace loving creatures have plenty of space to feel comfortable!
Thank you. Yes they have been looked after well.
