I am the few of the fortunate who occasionally get to see few birds of different variety around my house in Bangalore. I have captured few of them in my camera and here they are. One such beautiful bird is Indian Mynah or Common Mynah.
This is an omnivorous woodland bird with a strong territorial instinct. It has adapted extremely well to urban environments.
It has brown body, black hooded head and the bare yellow patch behind the eye. The bill and legs are bright yellow. There is a white patch on the outer primaries and the wing lining on the underside is white.

You got some wonderful photos of the mynah. I'm glad it visited your home.
So nice to see them in their natural habitat. We see them caged over here.

Wonderful shots of the Mynah Rajesh!
The are very adaptable. Two species have pretty well established themselves in Florida. Terribly noisy as a cage bird-- that is probably the reason so many "escaped" from captivity.
Nice shots!
Great photos.
The Mynahs are cool birds, great shots.
Thank you all.
Great captures!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
These very cheeky birds we also have in Australia. They certainly are great scavengers.
Good shots
Lovely shots of a bird I see everyday.
Spotting a pair of Mynahs is considered good luck! :) Not a single Mynah though!
