Nadankanan Zoo - Ibis

Nadankanan Zoo at Bhubaneswar is one of great zoo in India. There are various animals and birds at the zoo. One among them is Ibis.

These birds are in a artificial pond along with other water birds in the zoo.

Wonderful shots. This is a very exotic bird to me. Reminds me of the flamingo except very different colouring.

Noble-looking birds. The pond and shore look very natural.

Cool birds! I tried looking up to see what kind, but many are similar.

The pond is artificial, but the birds are real?

They look like storks of some kind.

Beautiful images of the Ibis!

Those look more like what we call wood storks than like what we call Ibis. In any case fascinating birds.
